Computer Troubleshooting Scam Attempts To Get Your Private Information
A new computer repair and troubleshooting scam is putting consumers at risk for fraud and identity theft. Part of the scam involves calling a consumer at random and telling them they are from a computer repair company, Microsoft or an IT business and that you have a virus, malware, spyware, or some other threat on their computer. They then insist on gaining access to the consumer's computer remotely in order to rid the system of the infection. However, this is all a part of getting access to both your data and personal information. Watch the video above for more information. Panther TEK Hosts Cat & Kitten Food Drive To Help Safe Haven
Panther TEK is hosting a cat and kitten food drive to help out Safe Haven For Animals which has taken in quite a number of cats and kittens recently. Our goal is to collect 2 tons of food so we can help feed all the cats and kittens currently in their care that are awaiting good and loving homes. All cat and kitten food will be delivered to Safe Haven as we collect it. Check out the video above to see some of the cats and kittens of Safe Haven. If you'd like to help let us know. So far almost 1,300 lbs of cat and kitten food has been donated to Safe Haven. The food drive will continue until we reach our goal of 2 tons of cat food being collected. If you can't make it to any of the drop-off locations feel free to call us here at Panther TEK. If you have your computers serviced through us, we'll gladly bring your donation straight to Safe Haven so it can be used sooner.
